“Game changer for soup prep.”
I have a teen boy who is a bottomless pit. We are healthy eaters so I want to have easily accessible nutrient dense food for him to get any time he needs it. He loves soup so when I saw these, I figured they would be perfect to freeze large quantities of soup.These molds are sturdy and not floppy like many silicone molds. It holds 1/2 cup of food, which is a good portion - it’ll heat quickly in a saucepan (or microwave, if you use them). When frozen, the food is easily popped from the mold. Washing the molds is easy, too, and with the flexibility at the bottom, any food particles are quickly washed away from the corners. I like that the design allows for stacking multiples.I’ve only used for soup so far, but I can see using them to make large ice cubes for punch bowls. I really am pleased with these and I plan to buy several more so I can freeze larger portions of meals at a time.
